The Truth About "Juggling It All" as a Homeschool Mom

One question I get asked a lot is:

“How do you juggle it all?”

Homeschooling two kids.

One who is dyslexic and needs extra support.

A toddler who is usually either on my hip… or nursing.

And all the other moving parts that come with motherhood.

Meals. Laundry. Teaching. Meltdowns. Messes.

The everyday chaos of raising little humans.

The honest answer?

Jesus.

The Honest Truth About “Juggling It All”

If I’m being completely honest, juggling it all isn’t easy.

Some days I feel organized and on top of things.

But other days?

I’m completely winging it.

The homeschool lesson might not go as planned.

The toddler might decide today is the day naps are canceled.

The house might look like a tornado ran through it.

Motherhood doesn’t always look neat or put together.

But the most important thing I remind myself of is this:

Just show up.

Even on the days when you’re exhausted.

Even on the days when you feel overwhelmed.

Even on the days when you don’t even know how you’re going to make it through.

Just show up.

God Meets You Right Where You Are

One thing I’ve learned in this season of motherhood is that God meets us exactly where we are.

Not when we have it all figured out.

Not when everything is perfect.

But right in the middle of the chaos, the exhaustion, and the uncertainty.

There are many days when I quietly whisper a prayer like:

“Lord, help me today.”

And somehow, He always does.

Maybe it’s through extra patience I didn’t think I had.

Maybe it’s through a small moment of peace in the middle of a busy day.

Maybe it’s simply the reminder that I don’t have to carry everything alone.

Trusting God Through Every Season

Putting your full trust in God is what carries you through motherhood.

Through the long days.

Through the difficult seasons.

Through the joyful moments and the hard ones.

Motherhood is full of highs and lows.

Some days feel beautiful and rewarding.

Other days feel overwhelming and heavy.

But through it all, I remind myself that God gave these children to me for a reason. And He will also give me the strength and wisdom to raise them.

Motherhood Isn’t About Having It All Figured Out

The longer I’ve been a mom, the more I realize something important:

Motherhood isn’t about having everything perfectly figured out.

It’s about being present.

It’s about loving your children well.

It’s about trusting that God will guide you through each stage, each challenge, and each season.

Right now, my season looks like homeschooling lessons at the kitchen table, a toddler attached to me most of the day, and learning how to support a child with dyslexia.

It’s messy.

It’s full.

It’s sometimes exhausting.

But it’s also beautiful.

And I’m learning that with God’s help, we don’t have to juggle it all perfectly.

We just have to keep showing up.

To the mama reading this who feels overwhelmed today:

You don’t have to do motherhood perfectly.

Just show up.

Lean on God.

And trust that He will handle the rest.
